David A. Brown, 68, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that happened when the dump truck he was driving in the 2700 block of Valley Road struck an embankment.
Brown was employed as a machinist and mechanic at Nestle Purina, formerly ALPO, for 43 years before his retirement in 2022, according to his obituary from Heintzelman Funeral Home. He was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ in Allentown.
He is survived by his wife, Debra; daughters, Michele Neff and Leslie Brown; brothers Donald and Harry; and grandsons Joseph Brown and Mason Neff, the obituary states.
A private memorial service with no public calling hours is being held at the convenience of the family, according to the obituary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of Heintzelman Funeral Home at P.O. Box 196, Schnecksville, PA 18078-0196.
